USE


The GM.65 flat heaters are the perfect solution for applications requiring efficient, even heat distribution at temperatures exceeding 350°C. Engineered for demanding industrial environments, they are commonly used for heating molds, tools, and melt flow channels. These heaters deliver rapid heating, exceptional durability, and customizable designs, ensuring optimal performance in high-temperature applications.

GM.65 flat heaters are perfect in dry conditions, they are not suitable for wet environments. For such applications, we recommend our GM.76 heater model, specifically designed to deliver reliable performance in moisture-prone settings.

CONSTRUCTION OF FLAT HEATERS GM.65


The GM.65 heaters can be constructed in three ways to suit your needs:
  • GM.651 NORMAL Closed with Sheet Metal - Standard construction for versatile applications.
  • GM.652 CERAM ONLY - Features ceramic insulation, perfect for installations with limited space.
  • GM.653 NORMAL with Pressure Plate – Pressure plate(Fe) available in thicknesses of 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, or 10 mm for enhanced durability (welded).
All GM.65 heating elements are equipped with heating wire and high-quality Steatit insulation for superior heat resistance and efficiency. Choose the right configuration for your application to maximize performance and reliability.

  • Mounting of heater: Mounting heater properly to the desired surface is essential for optimal performance. Ensure there are enough fixing holes and a pressure plate to prevent movement and ensure stability. This ensures efficient heat distribution, energy savings, and longer-lasting performance.

When to select GM.653 NORMAL with Pressure Plate?
Select the Ceramic Flat Heater GM.653 for applications with working temperatures from 300°C to 700°C and when high power density is required, up to 8 W/cm². The GM.653 offers enhanced stability with an integrated pressure plate, ensuring secure installation. It also provides optimal heat distribution and a long operational life thanks to its durable construction, making it ideal for demanding high-temperature environments.
