USE


High performance cartridge heaters type HLP represent the latest development of cartridge heaters of conventional design.
The special construction allows an extremely high surface loading and thus a large power in a small area.
HLP heating element are used to provide efficient and consistent heat in various industrial and commercial applications. These compact heating units are designed to be inserted into a hollow hole or a cavity, allowing for direct heat transfer to the surrounding material.

The heating elements type HLP can be equipped with a threaded nipple made of brass or stainless steel.
Brass nipples will be soldered to the cartridge, stainless steel nipples will be welded. Heaters with the nipple dimensions indicated beside can be delivered at short notice.

Description: Protective hose made of spirally shaped, wound, galvanised steel ribbon for cartridge heaters from dia. 6.5 mm through dia. 20 mm.
This hose protects the connections from mechanical damage but cannot be used when the heaters are subject to a lot of movement.
A connection tube joins the cartridge heater to the protective hose. The hose is mounted into the tube or around its outer diameter and welded.
Usage: Protecion against mechanical damage, strain relief
